Firehouse Collective launches AskFran.org — a free, AI-powered local guide for seniors and their families

FRANKLIN, TN, UNITED STATES, April 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Launched by Firehouse Collective, a Franklin-based nonprofit serving Nashville area seniors and their caregivers, AskFran.org is a free AI-powered assistant that answers real questions about aging, local resources, and senior care — with answers specific to this community.— Mark Freeman
Williamson County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Tennessee. The population of seniors in the county is expected to grow 56% by 2030. As more seniors choose to stay in their own homes rather than move to assisted living, families are discovering a gap: there is no single local resource to help them navigate the questions that come up every day.
• What transportation options are available for my dad in Franklin?
• All these Medicare and Medicaid options, what are the difference? What do I need?
• What memory care communities are in Williamson County, and how do I compare them?
• What programs exist to help my parent stay independent longer?
Ask Fran is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no cost.
Built for Two People: The Senior and the Adult Caregiver
AskFran.org is designed for seniors who want to stay independent and for the adult children and caregivers who want to help them do it. The platform connects users with local service providers, practical guidance for aging in place, and community volunteer resources — all tailored to Williamson and Maury Counties.
“Families are often trying to sort through a flood of information during already stressful situations,” said Mark Freeman of Firehouse Collective. “AskFran.org cuts through the noise and provides clear, local guidance so people can make confident decisions for themselves or their loved ones.”
Free to Use. Built by Neighbors.
AskFran.org is completely free to use — no sign-up required — and available to anyone in Williamson County whether they are planning ahead or facing an immediate need today.
The platform is the first product from Firehouse Collective, a nonprofit founded by a group of Franklin men committed to helping seniors age successfully at home. Firehouse Collective is a member of the national Village to Village network and is currently building a local volunteer coordination system, with connected in-person support planned for late 2026.
